Itinerary

Day 1: MCasablanca – Hotel

Welcomed at Mohammed V airport . Transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca – Marrakech

After Breakfast, we will visit of the economic capital of Morocco: the central market, the Habous district, the Royal palace, the Mohammed V square, the residential area of Anfa and the inside of the Hassan II mosque. Lunch at local restaurant. Departure to Marrakech, dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Marrakech City Tour 

The entire day will be devoted to the visit of Marrakech, the second oldest Imperial city, known as the Pearl of the South. The city was founded by the Almoravides at the end of the 11th century. The historical sightseeing includes Yves Saint Laurent Garden, and the Koutoubia. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon, visit of the souks and handicraft quarters, displaying a variety of items and the famous place Djemaa El Fna with its nonstop entertainment, dinner and overnight at hotel .

Day 4: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate

Your desert trip start with you being picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech and heading for Ouarzazate (the door way of the Sahara), We will be crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi- N-Tichka pass (2260m above sea level). The slithering road overlooks some of the most beautiful landscapes and backdrops ever where the foot hills are decorated with Berber villages. The first stop is the Kasr of Ait Benhaddou. This UNISCO world heritage site is still inhabited by Berber villagers who preserve their traditional life styles and the place itself has acted as the shooting location for many Hollywood movies like Lawrence of Arabia and Jesus of Nazareth. Explore the Kasbah at your leisure; we personally suggest you get to the highest spot for a beautiful view of your surroundings that have been fixed in time for years. After exploring to your contentment, we will continue driving to Ouarzazate to have dinner and spend the night in a typical hotel.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Skoura Palm – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi)

We depart from the hotel in Ourzazate at 8 am after having enjoyed breakfast. We will be taking the road of 1000 kasbahs to our next stop, Skoura palm grove. Skoura is the home to many of Southern Morocco’s monuments like Amerhidil & Ait Abbou kasbahs. After which we proceed to the Berber city of Kelaat Mgouna, where each year during the first week of May the locals hold the festival of roses to celebrate the new harvest and sell all kinds of rose based products like rose water. We’ll cross the valley of roses to Boumalen Dades and then Tineghir (famous for the jewish square & lush palm grove). After making it to Todra gorges we will have lunch and follow that with a trek along the canyons. Next we will trek by camel for one and a half hours through Erg Chebbi’s dunes while enjoying Merzouga’s Sahara sunset. Our final destination will be the nomadic camp where we will spend the night around a campfire while playing the drums with the camel breeders, before sleeping in the bivouacs in the middle of the desert.

Day6: Merzouga – Tour 4×4 in the Desert

After breakfast, we will take jeep to visit the villages of the desert, schools and associations of women’s progress in the desert, oases and discovering the nomads who live there, pass by “the village of the black people,village of ancient slaves” in Khamlia and stop to visit those people who will invite you to a cup of tea and listen to their music. Back to hotel,dinner and overnight at hotel 

Day 7: Erg Chebbi – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes

You will be woken up at 5: 30 am, half an hour before sunrise to enjoy catch the first glimpses of the sunrays running across the sand, we will follow that by a breakfast in the bivouac. We will ride the camel’s back to meet the driver and make our way to Fes. Our road will go through the quiet Ziz valley, Errachida and Midelt. We will stop for lunch close to Azrou city and we will pay a visit to the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountain and play with the friendly monkeys that inhabit the area, after which we continue to Fes,dinner and overnight at hotel in Fes 

Day 8 : Fes city Tour

Fes heritage of humanity with full day guided tour of the oldest of the imperial cities. Founded in 808 as the first political, religious and cultural capital. We started the visit with the Golden Doors of the Royal Palace. Subsequently, from a high point we observe the wall that encloses an impressive and ancient medina. Then we will travel on foot experiencing hundreds of feelings aroused. Discover mosques and madrassas, and religious places until the district of the tanners. Free time for lunch – not included – and continue to visit the neighborhood of artisans. They brought their knowledge from Spain and kept the Andalusian art and style to this day Fez giving the deserved name of the city of artisans. Dinner and overnight at Hotel

Day 9: Fes – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we will pick up you from your hotel in Fez at 8:00 am by our driver and go to Chefchaouen, a true jewel of Morocco, lying in the Rif area. It is known for its shady alleys, whitewashed houses with blue turquoise doors, wrought iron windows and tile covered roofs. Sat on the terrace of a cafe, you can enjoy the attractive view of the grand Tarik-Ben-Ziad mosque whose octagonal minaret is inspired by that of the Torre de Oro in Seville. This Andalousian architecture can be found in the kasbah and its gardens, at the center of the medina. Its walls and its 11 crenellated towers, of which one used to be a dungeon, house an interesting ethnographic museum. The famous djellaba, this long and ample garment worn by the men and women of North Africa, was created here. The welcome and great hospitality provided by its inhabitants can be experienced during a visit to a traditional oil mill (there are more than 1500 of them) or a craftsman’s workshop. Over and above its weaving, Chefchaouen is renowned for its basket-making and its pottery. Also you will be escorted to the hustle and bustle of the souk, which is still as lively as ever and a true source of Moroccan culture the way it is lived daily. Finally you will reach your Riad,Dinner and overnight at Riad

Day 10 : Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Rabat – Casablanca

After breakfast, we will depart to Casablanca with a stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the sacred town of Moulay Idriss I, where the founder of Islam in Morocco is buried,lunch and departure to Meknès, which was founded at the end of the 17th Century by Moulay Ismail and is known as “the Moroccan Versailles”. Highlights will include Bab Mansour, Hari Souani and the old medina. We will then continue to Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco. In Rabat we will visit the splendid Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower, Lunch in a restaurant, Late in afternoon, check-in at your hotel in Casablanca, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11 : Casablanca – Airport
